Experiment 1:: Experiment 2:: Experiment 3

22nd July, Sunday 12:23
The idea of this project is to generate a trip randomly to anywhere. I have read an article from Charles Peirce, it is about traces, signs and index. We travel and make unexpected trips to places and sometimes we discover surprising connections to other places. So if I use these elements to create my generator, then the first index I have got is my student number: (3420263) when a trace is something we are on the look out for, it may also surprise us and most of the time are more or less discovered. I began to use my student number to arrange my traces. Before I start off from Denistone to Hornsby, first of all, I list out the options I will have based on the set up numbers as follows:

3: 3 mins/3rd Traffic light/3rd shop - I chose the 3rd traffic light
4: 4 person/4th house/4 letter box - I chose no. 4 letter box
2: 2 mins/2 person/2nd lane - I chose 2 person
0: A red colour sign - I chose Coles
2: 2nd street on left/2nd street on right - I chose 2nd street on left
6: 6 mins to hang around/6 steps go up or down (if there are steps) - I chose hang around for 6 minutes
3: go into a resturant and order the number 3 on the menu

Thanks God! It is a Spring Roll, hurray!
The traces will be followed by the experimental 2.
